Five Topics That Will Guarantee You Readers

We all have times where we need to generate some quick and easy views in order to keep our blog, website or articles earning cash. Now, we can promote our old media to try and squeeze a few more cents out of them, or we can create a new media piece that will earn you almost immediate readers and cash.

Now, there are literally thousands of ideas and ways to create views, but they all generate them at a different rate, and all earn different amounts based on the related ads. However, I have put together a list of the top five earning topics that can be used to make money online with through media.

5) Money

There are hundreds of articles, videos and audio recordings on this subject online, and almost every single one makes a huge amount of views for its creator. Whether its on a certain program, technique or just a personal account on how you made money online, readers will flock to your content. However, since there is such a high quantity of these types of articles online, it is not a simple task to get thousands of readers. It is a gradual process, that requires a lot of promotion, linking and continual production to gain massive amounts of readers. However, a few pieces on this topic are a good way to earn a couple of hundred views in a few weeks, if you promote enough. They won’t give you top dollar for advertising, but will have a pretty solid rate for clicks and impressions.

4) Relationships and love

Advice or personal accounts of love are always popular. Teenagers and young adults will look for guidance on how to deal with their problems and how to prevent them in the future. This can be gleaned from personal accounts, but a guide or a list of a few tips will also do fairly well. Older adults may look for steamy stories of lust, as a source of entertainment. Writing romantic fiction isn’t as hard as it seems, as short chapters of a longer story do very well, and in general don’t always have to be well writing, though quality is something all online publishers strive for. Remember to lay out a quick piece on romance to gain views. While these generally don’t generate tons of income (with the exception of porn, but I won’t talk about that), they make up for it from the amount of views you can make from promoting successfully and keeping your media high quality. This is also a great way to generate a following of readers.3) Recipes and Food

The internet is a massive recipe sharing platform that many parents and cooks use to find new and exciting dishes. An old family recipe, or a simple one that you made up yourself, is something that people will want to see. If the recipe is a good one, and your media is popular online, you can expect to see some pretty heavy traffic rolling in fairly quickly. Ifrecipes are not something that you can share, or if you don’t want to share them, reviews on other people’s recipes, restaurants and food in general also does very well. Content that is food related generates medium revenue compared to other topics, and a fair amount of traffic as well. This type of content is popular because it doesn’t always require a lot of effort to publish a recipe or review online.

2) Health and Fitness

The health craze is in full swing, and many online publishers are taking advantage of this by creating and sharing their own tips, opinions and diets over the internet. Testing weight losstechniques, making your own, talking about health crazes and diets and even the old staple,exercise, are still popular subjects that generate a lot of high paying traffic fast. While there is some research or knowledge required to publish articles like this online, it is well worth the time and effort. Note that nutrition and health related food advice is different then recipes and food, as the traffic and income generated are different. One is health related, while the other is more hobby centered.

1) Gaming

The top paying and most viewed article topic that I have ever encountered while publishingonline is gaming. Games, whether they be massively popular games like Farmville to classics like Halo, they are certain to make a huge splash in your readers online. This type of content is mainly focused on teenagers and young adults, so be warned against spam comments. This is easy to create media that gives a high return rate, as not a lot of knowledge is needed to make a piece on a game. Instead, a google search and a few article reads can give you the information you need to make a quality piece. Now, that is not to say that you shouldn’t put a lot of effort into this type of content, as a large, informative and well written piece will give you exponentially more viewers then a quick, five minute, slapped together piece.

Now, these five topics have worked well for me, but I never confined myself to a niche. Instead, I created all kinds of content, from audio to written articles, and I was sure to keep trying new subjects to see which ones worked the best for me. Also, traffic that you generate from your media should not just be organic. Be sure to also use social bookmarking sites like Digg and Reddit, and to spread your content’s link around the internet for people to see. Keep an eye out in forums and related media for more tips, and be sure to constantly create more media. The more time spent creating and promoting, the greater the rewards.

I wrote this article assuming that you have had some experience publishing online, through a site like Triond or independently. Parts of this article may not make sense, or be slightly confusing, if you have not had any experience of this kind.

Triond Referral Program

Triond, after a long history of publishing user’s articles online and sharing revenue, has decided to go competitive. How so? Well, ever since Triond was first launched, other online publishing sites have come into being, and have tried to make themselves more attractive to users. One of those features, recently announced to be coming to Triond last month, was the integration of Google’s ad network, Adsense. Another new feature that has a lot more people interested is the beta launch of it’s very own referral program.

How does this benefit you, the user, and Triond, the company? Well, when you refer a user, you generate 10% of everything they publish. Forever. So if you refer ten people, and the all make a hundred bucks in three months, you’ve made 100 dollars to, in the same amount of time, for only spreading your link around the internet. Now, Triond can afford to pay you this because they’re still getting half of what you make and half of what the referrals make, and the referrals don’t lose any money.

So, how do you sign up for this program? You have to email referrals@triond,com (replace the comma with a dot) and ask for a position in the beta testing. If you’re approved, they’ll send you the link and you can begin promoting it in hopes of making a few extra dollars. However, there won’t be a whole lot of spots available, so if you don’t get accepted you should wait until it becomes public.

If it becomes public. Triond stated that they were releasing the program as a test to see how it actually worked in reality. If it doesn’t turn out to do as well as they had hoped, you probably won’t see the start of the program. However, the community at Triond is fairly well rounded, and should be able to generate enough new users and revenue from this program to make it well worth Triond’s time. Until then, however, we’ll just have to wait and see.

No matter what you write, you can find a place for it online. Depending on what you want to do with your writing, there a few different ways to start your career. For instance, someone looking for advanced critique should go to a site like Deviant Art, while someone looking to make money should choose Bukisa, Helium or Triond.

Now, when you say that you want to write online, you need to be specific. What do you want to write? Freelancing? Creative writing? Here are a few sites that should help you out

Creative Writing – Deviant Art, Helium (will accept them), Storymash, Wattpad

Freelancing – Helium (marketplace), WritersWeekly, Freelancewriting.com

Articles – Triond, Bukisa, Redgage

A few tips to get you started

• Make sure that you state something new in every sentence

The Best Social Bookmarking Sites and How to Get Them to Work for You

In order to become successful in the world of online publishing, you must be able to promote your content.

You can do this in many ways, but the most common and best way to do it is through social bookmarking sites.

A social bookmarking site is where members submit links to content that they like, or find interesting. Other people view this content, and if they like it will “digg” it or “stumble” it. The more of these likes your content gets, the more people will see it as it’s ranking goes up.

Now, the best sites to use for promotion are stumbleupon, digg, and reddit, as they have the largest user bases. That said, you can’t submit all your links and expect thousands of views to suddenly pour in. Instead, the process of promoting your content is a constant one. In order to maximize your views, you have to be a constant member in the forums, comment on other people’s links, and add friends. Also, it would be a good idea to use two or more sites, so that you have more than one stream of traffic.

Now, you might be tempted to submit every piece of content you’ve ever written right away. I would advise against this, and instead suggest to submit your best content first in order to establish a reader base first. After you have a few friends and subscribers, then begin to submit your other work as well. If you do this, you’ll allow people to still see everything, but your best work first.

With a little luck and some hard work, you’ll begin to see traffic being generated from these sites in no time.

How to Write Online and Make Money Successfully

A lot of people write online, and many get paid for it. However, in order to be successful in writing online, you need to know the ins and outs.

First off, when I say writing online, I mean writing as in an article, a factual piece. While you can get paid for your creative writing online, it is very hard to find someone who will pay you a good sum for it, as most websites won’t pay you all that much for it. This may be discouraging to some of the budding creative writers out there, but with some hard work, you can definitely get paid. In order to be successful online, basically at least 90% of everything you write should be about something real. Think reporter more than author.Secondly, make sure that you write about something that applies to a vast amount of people. An article on personal health and weight loss would get more views than a write up of your local school. Unless your school has something that makes it unique, like raising a million dollars for charity or a shooting. Remember to write about something that you feel comfortable writing, something you can relate to or know about.

Thirdly, watch the news and current events going on in the world. While generally news articles don’t do that well when posted on a site that has other content as well, but if you post it fast enough, you are sure to at least earn a few dollars off of it.

Lastly, post your content to different sites. I personally use Triond, Redgage and Bukisa, with links leading to my content from Digg and Stumbleupon, as well as my blog. Set up a network of promoting tools and publishing sites so you can earn as much as possible, and maybe even send emails to your friends to tell them about your content.

Blogs survive off of readers, and bloggers earn when readers visit their blog. So how do you get these readers? Well, many blogs get tons of them off of traffic sites like Entrecard. Get Paid Online Through Surveys

You can get paid for taking surveys online. Most sites will pay you from a dollar to ten for every survey you complete, and will pay you once you earn a certain amount of money. You can get paid through check or Pay-pal, and can stand to earn a lot of money off of these sites. Personally, I used opinion outpost for a while a couple of years ago, and while I only earned around $300 in a year, I didn’t work nearly as hard on that site as I did on my own blog, or my Triond articles. The site is legitimate, and will pay you. Unfortunately, I never took a picture of my check to offer as proof, but it is a real site. They offer the results of the surveys you take to large companies and earn money for themselves that way. The more surveys you take the more you cane earn, and the surveys themselves take around 5 to 15 minutes.
